Shudder Home page Redesign (Concept Work)
A Gateway to Shudder’s Vast Library
As the front door to the app, this experience was designed to immerse users in Shudder’s extensive library of horror, thriller, and supernatural movies. Featuring various swimlane styles, highlight cards, and interactive collection components, the design allows Shudder to present its content in dynamic and engaging ways. To ensure a seamless user experience across platforms, I implemented responsive breakpoints for Smart TV, mobile apps, and desktop interfaces.
Optimized for Mobile Users
For the mobile app, I carefully optimized component sizing to balance legibility with the ability to showcase a broad array of content. The hero button design integrates iconography, providing an intuitive and streamlined experience even on the smallest phone screens. This ensures accessibility and usability for all users, regardless of device.
Versatile Highlight Cards
The highlight cards are a flexible design element that can showcase various types of content. From Shudder collections and episodic series to seasonal events like Season of Screams, these cards provide an engaging way to feature new or notable content, helping users discover more of what Shudder has to offer.
